ABOUT Boxers

GENERAL INFORMATION

In the Boxer world it is said that a white as well as a sealed brindle (AKA black) are big time no nos in the breeding of legitimate Boxers. And why is that? Well if you believe everything out there they will have you thinking that every white Boxer is blind and/or deaf. This is not true. About 12% are affected with either or condition but what they don' tell you is the other colors in Boxers are affected as well in about the same percentage. Therefore it is NOT because they are white. Sealed brindles AKA black Boxers are said to be crossbreds, etc. Funny that they can trace back to the early 1900's in Germany. For a lot more information on this please visit Black Boxer History Through the years both the whites and the blacks have been culled mostly by killing them. Why anyone would want to not breed these dogs is beyond me. I think both colors deserve a shot in the ring, in fact I have seen some extremely nice whites and sealed brindles. Please do not email me with garbage about why not to breed these colors or that they are not purebred, or whatever. You have your opinion, I have mine and leave it at that. Breeding a white Boxer to a flashy Boxer will give you flashy puppies and white puppies. Breeding a white Boxer to a solid/non flashy Boxer will give you all flashy puppies. Sealed brindles breed like regular brindles, and you need one to make one.

We will sell any of our Boxers with full breeding rights reguardless of color provided we feel it will be of at least breeding quality. We do not just offer breeding stock to anyone. Please contact us if you are wanting one for breeding. We also believe in natural ears here. Yes our male has his done, but they were done before we got him. If I do keep any for showing, we will probably have them done, but this is the only time. We do dock tails and remove dew claws at 3 days.
